Tecno Mobile has officially launched the Tecno Pova Slim 5G in India, claiming it as the world’s slimmest 5G smartphone. At just 5.95mm thickness and weighing 156 grams, it combines a sleek design with powerful performance. Priced at ₹19,999, the new phone is targeted at users who want both style and performance in a lightweight package.

Ultra-Slim Yet Strong Design

Despite its slim body, the Pova Slim 5G is built for durability. The back panel uses 0.36mm aerospace-grade fiberglass, which is three times stronger than standard materials. The front is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, making it resistant to scratches and minor drops.

It also comes with IP64 dust and splash resistance and military-grade shock protection, ensuring toughness for everyday use.

Display: Bright and Smooth

The smartphone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate for ultra-smooth scrolling and gaming. With a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, the screen remains sharp and clear even under bright sunlight, making it perfect for multimedia and outdoor use.

Performance: Fast and Efficient

Under the hood, the device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, built on a 6nm process for speed and energy efficiency. It packs 8GB RAM, expandable to 16GB via virtual RAM, and 128GB internal storage, giving users ample space for apps, media, and files.

The phone is powered by HiOS 15 based on Android 15, offering customization options and a user-friendly interface.

Battery and Charging

Even with its slim frame, the Pova Slim 5G houses a 5,160mAh battery. It supports 45W fast charging, allowing it to reach 50% charge in just 25 minutes, and a full charge in under an hour.

The phone sports a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP secondary lens at the back. On the front, it has a 13MP selfie camera. The camera system supports 2K video recording and uses AI for clearer, sharper photos, especially in low light.

Dynamic Mood Light: A Fun Extra
