Akshay Kumar courtroom comedy-drama Jolly LLB 3 has officially crossed the ₹100 crore milestone, marking the actor 15th film to enter the coveted ₹100 crore club. However, the film box office momentum has slowed sharply in its third week, with collections dropping to ₹60 lakh on its third Monday — its lowest single-day figure since release.
Despite the dip, Jolly LLB 3 continues to hold screens across India, maintaining a decent run even as major new releases dominate the box office.
A Strong Start, Followed by a Gradual Decline
Directed by Subhash Kapoor, Jolly LLB 3 brings back Akshay Kumar alongside Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla, reprising their roles in the much-loved legal drama franchise. The film opened to solid numbers, collecting ₹74 crore in its first week and another ₹29 crore in the second week.
During its third weekend, the movie added ₹5.05 crore, pushing its total to ₹108.05 crore. However, on its third Monday, the film earned just ₹60 lakh, taking its cumulative total to ₹108.65 crore.
This marks the first time in 18 days that the film’ daily earnings have slipped below ₹1 crore — a clear indication that its theatrical momentum is tapering off.
Impact of Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1
The primary reason behind Jolly LLB 3 slowdown is the record-breaking performance of Rishab Shetty Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1, which has taken the box office by storm. The Kannada epic collected over ₹250 crore in just five days, with the Hindi version alone contributing ₹82 crore — diverting a significant chunk of audience attention and screen share.
Trade analysts say Kantara dominance has made it challenging for other films to maintain steady collections. However, they note that Jolly LLB 3 has already delivered a respectable theatrical performance and continues to attract family audiences in select regions.
Will Jolly LLB 3 Cross Jolly LLB 2 Lifetime Record?
The big question now is whether Jolly LLB 3 can surpass the ₹117 crore lifetime total of Jolly LLB 2. While that target remains within reach, analysts suggest it will depend largely on the film hold during the coming week.
With no major Hindi releases slated until Diwali weekend, Jolly LLB 3 could still inch closer to the benchmark. Upcoming films like Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna Thamma and Harshvardhan Rane–Sonam Bajwa Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat are expected to release around the festival, giving Jolly LLB 3 an extended window to add to its total.
Other titles such as Mohanlal Vrusshabha and Hollywood Tron: Ares are unlikely to pose major competition to the Akshay Kumar-starrer in the Hindi belt.
A Solid Year for Akshay Kumar
With Jolly LLB 3 joining Sky Force and Housefull 5 among his 2025 successes, Akshay Kumar is enjoying one of his strongest box office years in recent times. The actor, who faced a string of underperforming films in previous years, has made a remarkable comeback with a lineup that blends comedy, drama, and action.
While Jolly LLB 3 may have slowed down, its ₹100 crore-plus run cements its place as another hit in Akshay career — proving once again that his courtroom charisma still resonates with audiences.
