Xiaomi 17 Series Officially Announced in China
Just a week after the launch of the iPhone 17, Xiaomi has unveiled its much-awaited Xiaomi 17 series at the Beijing National Convention Center. The lineup includes three new flagship smartphones – Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
The company has also introduced HyperOS 3 based on Android 16, making this series one of the most powerful in Xiaomi’s history.
Xiaomi 17 Specifications

Xiaomi 17 Pro Specifications
The Xiaomi 17 Pro looks almost identical to the vanilla version on the front but has a rectangular camera island at the back featuring a 2.7-inch secondary display.

- Camera Setup: Same as Xiaomi 17, but with 5x optical zoom on the telephoto lens

The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is the most powerful device in the lineup.
